On Monday, Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba held talks with Croatian Foreign Minister Gordon Grlic-Radman, who is on a visit to Kyiv. Kuleba himself participated in the meeting via video link, as he was infected with the coronavirus and is in self-isolation.
"We agreed on the possibility of using Croatian ports on the Danube and the Adriatic Sea to transport Ukrainian grain. Now we will work to build the most efficient routes to these ports and make the most of this opportunity," Kuleba said.
"Every contribution to unblocking exports, every open door is a real, effective contribution to the world's food security. I thank Croatia for its constructive assistance," the Ukrainian minister added.
Background. Meanwhile, it has become known that Poland will extend the ban on imports of Ukrainian agricultural products. Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki said that Poland would maintain the ban even without the consent of the European Commission.
