Yermak: About 30 foreign chips found in missiles fired at Ukraine
He called for tougher sanctions to deny Moscow access to foreign parts

Russian cruise missiles fired at Ukrainian cities last night contain dozens of foreign components.
Source. This was stated by the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak.
"Last night, Russians fired at Ukraine, in particular, with X-101 missiles. These missiles were manufactured by Russians this year. The X-101s, which were launched in April, have about 30 foreign chips," he wrote in a telegram.
Yermak called for tougher sanctions to deny Moscow access to foreign components.
"We are working with our partners, communicating with them regularly. Our partner governments are also working with chip manufacturers and suppliers. Restrictions have already been imposed, but sanctions need to be strengthened so that Russia cannot receive critical components and manufacture missiles," Yermak emphasized.
He later noted that the Russian-made Lancet UAV contains at least 19 foreign electronic components, including Western ones. The Russian Orlan UAV also has a lot of them.
"The Lancet is one of the main combat units that the enemy uses at the front against our armored vehicles, air defense systems, radars, and more. Just like other ZALA AERO products. "The Orlan is a reconnaissance vehicle that detects positions and adjusts fire," he said.
McFaul-Yermak's group will soon present a document with specific sanctions proposals to prevent the supply of microelectronics, machine tools and other equipment necessary for the production of UAVs, as well as chemicals and other materials, the head of the President's Office wrote.
