The State Property Fund reported that the overall economic effect from privatisation since the start of 2023 amounted to 3.4 billion UAH.

Of which:

  • 2.4 billion UAH – from the sale of assets;
  • 495 million UAH – repaid company debts to employees and the budget;
  • 480 million UAH – VAT payment (20% of winning bids).

"All this money goes to support the Defence Forces. In addition, the new owners of loss-making state assets are establishing businesses, creating jobs, and paying millions in taxes," the State Property Fund stated.
