UPDATED at 10:12 a.m.:
LB.ua, citing the russian defence department, reports that the first drone was allegedly shot down at 6:50 a.m. moscow time over the village of Pokrovske. Later, at 8:16 a.m. moscow time, a second drone was reportedly neutralised over the capital.
moscow's airports have temporarily ceased operations following the drone attack.
This information comes from Ukrainian MP Oleksiy Honcharenkoof the European Solidarity party. He states that the airports have implemented a 'carpet' plan, leading to the delay of several flights, both incoming and outgoing.
Hromadske mentions that russian media have already attributed the attack to Ukrainian drones, which have reportedly been neutralised. Yet, Vnukovo airport is still neither receiving nor dispatching flights.
Simultaneously, air defence forces in the moscow suburbs are said to have been activated.
