Ukraine receives record emergency power assistance – Ukrenergo
Yesterday, the power system received 2,000 MW-hours from Poland and Romania

Energy experts reported a new consumption record yesterday, surpassing the previous peak by 1.3%. Ukraine sought emergency power assistance between 6:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. The power, totalling a record 2,000 MW-hours, was sourced from Poland and Romania, as informed by Ukrenergo.
Ukrenergo highlighted that many thermal power stations are currently undergoing maintenance, which restricts their ability to meet the full demand. Furthermore, one unit at a thermal power station was temporarily shut down due to an emergency protection mechanism.
It has also been announced that there will be a planned electricity import from Slovakia and Moldova today, during morning and evening hours, with a capacity reaching up to 356 MW.
Background. Mind previously reported that power technicians had restored service to over 50,000 subscribers in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast.
