Source. This was reported by the Turkish edition of Yeni Şafak.
Earlier, Russian media reported that the Russian president was expected in Ankara and that he would come there.
According to the sources quoted by the media, preparations for this visit are underway and it is critical for the new Black Sea agreement.
Reportedly, Ankara believes that the grain deal is unlikely to work without Russia, despite the fact that Ukraine is trying to organize grain exports without an agreement with Russia.
So far, there is no official data on the conclusion of a new grain deal, but the Erdogan administration claims to have made serious progress in resolving the situation.
Earlier it was reported that a new grain deal could be concluded between Russia, Turkey and Qatar. Ukraine was not mentioned – according to diplomatic correspondence, the agreement was to cover only Russian grain.
As a reminder, on July 19, the Russian Defense Ministry announced that due to the termination of the grain agreement, starting July 20, it would consider all ships sailing through the Black Sea to Ukrainian ports as potential carriers of military cargo, and the countries under whose flags such ships are sailing would be considered involved in the war on the side of Ukraine.
In response, Ukraine's Defense Ministry announced that starting July 21, it may treat all ships sailing to Black Sea ports located in Russia or the occupied territories of Ukraine as military cargo.
It also became known that Erdogan plans to meet with Putin in September to discuss the grain deal.
