Penthouse, apartment, house: Czech Republic seizes assets of family of Russian cruise missile manufacturer's director
The oligarch behind the production of missiles that kill innocent Ukrainians must be held accountable, the country's Foreign Ministry emphasized

The Financial Analysis Unit (FAU) of the Czech Republic has frozen the property of relatives of Boris Obnosov, the head of the Tactical Missile Arms Corporation (KTRV). These are his daughter Olga and 37-year-old son-in-law Rostislav Zorykov, who have recently been subjected to national sanctions.

In particular, a penthouse overlooking Prague worth about a million euros was arrested; an apartment in the same complex worth 23 million rubles; a three-story mansion in the historic district of Žižkov worth 6 million euros.
His real estate firm Riomax was also arrested. Before the sanctions, he managed to transfer his stake in another Czech company, Altera, to his father.
Obnosov's family's wealth in the Czech Republic is estimated at more than CZK 100 million (EUR 4.1 million at the current exchange rate). Now they will not be able to sell or transfer their Czech assets.
"We are doing everything possible to ensure that all those who are associated with the Putin regime, who actively help it and who benefit from the war in Ukraine are punished," said Prime Minister Petr Fiala.
The real estate of Zorikov and his wife in Prague was previously reported by the FBC, which was run by politician Alexei Navalny.
Czech President Petr Pavel noted in July that the restrictions could not yet be imposed due to a "legal problem," but promised to find a solution. On August 16, the Czech government imposed national sanctions against Obnosov and his family.
"The Russian oligarch behind the production of missiles that kill innocent Ukrainians must be held accountable. As well as those who enjoy luxury in the Czech Republic on the money from the trade in death," commented Jan Lipavsky, the Czech Foreign Minister.
Boris Obnosov has been CEO of KTRV for 20 years and was awarded the Hero of Russia star for his "great contribution to strengthening the country's defense capabilities."
The missiles produced by the corporation are used in the war against Ukraine, including the bombing of residential buildings in Dnipro and Uman. The victims of these strikes were 69 people.
Background. Earlier it became known that Ukrainian titanium concentrate is still entering the Russian market through intermediaries.
