The United States is preparing to impose sanctions on Turkish companies for helping Russia
These are companies involved in the repair of Russian ships and facilitating the transfer of "dual-use goods" to Moscow.

The administration of US President Joe Biden will impose sanctions on five Turkish companies and one Turkish citizen for helping Russia circumvent existing restrictions.
Source. This was reported by Reuters with reference to an official of the US Treasury Department.
These are companies involved in the repair of ships associated with the Russian Ministry of Defense and facilitating the transfer of "dual-use goods" to Moscow for the war against Ukraine.
Thus, the blacklist will include Margiana Insaat Dis Ticaret and Demirci Bilisim Ticaret Sanayi. The former has made "hundreds of deliveries" to Russian companies under sanctions, and these goods were used to produce attack drones. The latter sent sensors and measuring devices to Russia.
In addition, the United States will impose restrictions on Denkar Ship Construction for providing repair services to sanctioned vessels associated with the Russian Ministry of Defense.
In addition, the list will include the Turkish shipbuilding agency ID Ship Agency and its owner, Ilker Dogruyol, as well as CTL Limited, which, according to the United States, acts as an intermediary in the supply of electronic components of American and European origin to Russia.
These sanctions will be part of a new large-scale package of US measures against Russia, which provides for restrictions on more than 150 legal entities, the Ministry of Finance noted.
The ministry noted that despite numerous warnings, the channels for exporting dual-use goods to Russia from Turkey remain open.
"Over the past 18 months, we have been sharing our concerns with the Turkish government and the private sector, informing them of the significant risks of doing business with those we have sanctioned and who are associated with Russia's war," the official said.
In this regard, the new package of restrictions will be directed against technology suppliers, as well as companies that help to manufacture and repair Russian weapons systems.
"These measures reflect our ongoing commitment to combating individuals and legal entities that provide material support to sanctioned organizations," the Ministry of Finance emphasized.
Background. Today it became known that the US Treasury announced a new package of sanctions against oligarchs, officials and companies in Russia. The list includes almost 100 individuals and legal entities involved in the military-industrial complex of Russia.
