Ukrainian drone "Sea Baby" damages Russian ship "Samum"
For this attack, the SBU used an experimental drone that can operate in a storm, hiding behind the waves

On Thursday, a Ukrainian naval drone shot down a Russian Samum missile ship off the coast of temporarily occupied Crimea, Ukrainian media reported, citing sources in the Armed Forces.
The SBU drone "Sea Baby" hit the rear right side of the ship, causing significant damage, which caused the ship to lose its momentum, the media reported.
It happened near the entrance to Sevastopol Bay.
According to a Reuters source, the vessel had to be towed away for repairs, and it rolled over on its side.
At the same time, the Russian Defense Ministry on Thursday reported an attempt by the Ukrainian Armed Forces to attack the Samum vessel, but said that the attack was allegedly repelled and the marine drone was destroyed.
According to Ukrayinska Pravda, the SBU used an experimental model of a marine drone that can operate in a storm, hiding from detection behind high waves. During the special operation, the waves reached a height of 1.5-2 meters.
In August, the head of the SBU, Vasyl Malyuk, said that the production of naval surface drones, which Ukraine successfully used to attack the Crimean bridge and Russian ships, was set up in the country at an underground production facility.
