First underground school in Ukraine to be built in Kharkiv - Terekhov
This will allow children to study in the face of Russian shelling

Kharkiv plans to build Ukraine's first underground school because of Russia's missile attacks.
Source. This was written by the mayor of the city, Ihor Terekhov, on his Telegram channel.
Kharkiv will continue to invest in education, and will not cut spending in this area by a single hryvnia this year or next year, Terekhov said.
According to him, the money will be allocated despite the lack of budget funds and "a rather difficult task to balance the local budget given the existing deficit."
It is planned to build the first underground school in Ukraine in Kharkiv that will meet modern regulatory requirements for protective structures.
"Such a shelter will allow thousands of Kharkiv children to continue their safe in-person education even during missile threats," the mayor said.
Background. As a reminder, law enforcement officers uncovered the embezzlement of UAH 10 million during the construction of a school in Ivano-Frankivsk region. Two people from the Capital Construction Department in the region were involved.
