Poland hands over first repaired Leopard tanks to Ukraine
Work continues on the next vehicles, Polish PGZ reports

The Polish Arms Group (PGZ) has announced the delivery to Ukraine of the first Leopard tanks repaired at the Bumar-Labendy plant in southern Poland.
"While others are making statements about the future, we are acting in coordination with the Ukrainian side. The first Leopard tanks that have undergone special modernization at the Bumar-Labendy plant have been received by the Ukrainian side. Work continues on the next vehicles," PGZ said in a statement on Twitter.
The company said that the Polish side has been servicing heavy equipment near the front line for more than a year.
"This clearly demonstrates that our priority is to provide real help to the soldiers at war. [...] We are constantly expanding our cooperation in the supply of ammunition, spare parts and maintenance of equipment," PGZ added.
Background. Earlier it was reported that Denmark recognized 12 of the 20 transferred Leopard 1 tanks as defective. It is noted that 10 of them have minor faults, so they will be repaired by Ukraine.
