Zelensky: Ukraine is developing a comprehensive program for its own weapons production

At the same time, according to the President, "it is obvious that the basic course of the state is its own production, its own weapons, equipment, its own shells for all positions that are needed for the Defense Forces."

The Ministry of Strategic Industry has already provided me with reports in several areas: "armor", missiles, and ATGMs. Today, the Deputy Prime Minister for Innovations made a report on electronic warfare at the Security Council. We are developing a comprehensive program in all these areas with clear deadlines and volumes," Zelenskyy said.

"The Ministry of Strategic Industry has a clear task to present a program to provide Ukrainian weapons for all key needs – from missiles and drones to armored vehicles and shells. There have already been reports on some elements of such a program. The results are good. There will be more significant ones," he emphasized.

Also, according to the President, he instructed Deputy Prime Minister Fedorov and Defense Minister Umerov to "maximize the digitalization of supplies for the defense forces."

"Full accountability and control is our priority," he emphasized.
