One of the firms earned 71,330 euros on the construction of the Crimean bridge, the money was confiscated

The Dutch prosecutor's office has fined four Dutch companies 160 thousand euros for their participation in the construction of the Crimean bridge.
Source. Reuters writes about it with reference to the statement of the department.
According to the prosecutor's office, the companies, bypassing European sanctions, supplied Moscow with machine tools, parts and machinery, as well as provided other services for the construction of the bridge across the Kerch Strait. All this happened from 2014 to 2017.
The names of the companies are not disclosed. It is only specified that one of them earned 71,330 euros on the construction of the Crimean bridge. This money was confiscated from the company as "illegally obtained benefits."
"The Crimean bridge was built partly thanks to the use of Dutch knowledge and experience," the agency said in a statement.
In addition to fines for the companies, eight people were sentenced to community service from 20 to 60 hours.
In March, the Dutch prosecutor's office opened 45 criminal cases against companies and individuals suspected of circumventing anti-Russian sanctions. 29 of them were related to violations of import and export sanctions.
Background. As a reminder, Ukrainian intelligence reported that Russians are flooding ferries to protect the Crimean bridge. The GUR said that the enemy's decisions were "feverish and intellectual crisis".
