The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported on Friday that 120 Russian armored vehicles, 55 tanks and 29 artillery systems were destroyed along the entire frontline (not only in Avdiivka) over the past 24 hours.
At the same time, the Ukrainian General Staff claims large-scale losses of Russian personnel: according to the General Staff's report, they amounted to 1380 people per day (while in the previous days, official reports of the Ukrainian military estimated losses at 600-800 people).
In addition, the President of Ukraine shared information about Russian losses in a telephone conversation with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz. Zelensky wrote about this on Twitter. He thanked the head of the German government for military assistance.
"Our agreements in Granada are being successfully implemented. I am especially grateful for the latest large package of military assistance, which includes Patriot and IRIS-T systems, as well as ammunition," Zelensky said.
He also told Scholz about the failed attempts of the Russian offensive in the Avdiivka area and that Russian troops have suffered particularly heavy losses at the front in recent days. Zelensky called Russia's losses near Avdiivka "catastrophic."
