Jordan, a Republican who opposes aid to Ukraine, is defeated for the third time in the election for House speaker

Republican Congressman Jim Jordan of Ohio has been defeated for the third time in the election for speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives, receiving 194 votes out of 215 needed.
