Ombudsman confirms murder of a family of 9 people in occupied Volnovakha by occupiers
Prior to that, one of the family members had a conflict with Kadyrov's men who wanted to "squeeze" his house

In the occupied city of Volnovakha, Donetsk region, Russian occupiers shot a family of 9 people in their own home, including two children.
Source. This was reported by the Verkhovna Rada Commissioner for Human Rights Dmytro Lubinets.
"Another terrible crime committed by Russians in the temporarily occupied Volnovakha, Donetsk region. They killed 9 people in their own home, including a 4th grade student and a preschool boy. Gunshot wounds were found on the bodies of the victims," the ombudsman wrote in his telegram channel.
According to preliminary data, the occupiers took the lives of the entire Kapkanets family, who gathered together to celebrate their birthday and refused to give up their homes to the Chechen occupiers, the official said.
"There is no doubt that the bloody hands of Russians were involved. Just as traces of Russian torture were found in Bucha, Irpen, Izyum and other Ukrainian cities where the "liberators" were present," Lubinets wrote.
Journalist Denis Kazansky received some details about this tragedy from local sources:
"Local resident Natalia Gorkun was celebrating her birthday. The day before, her son-in-law, Andriy Kapkanets, had a quarrel with Kadyrov's men who tried to take his house. The Kadyrovites decided to take revenge. They broke in right in the middle of a family feast and killed everyone present, including small children. This is what the Russian army calls 'protecting the people of Donbas'," he wrote.
Background. As a reminder, a car with a Russian soldier was blown up in the temporarily occupied Berdiansk, and the occupier died on the spot from his injuries.
