The social network X (Twitter) massively spreads spam-like materials with the common idea that Ukrainians should demand that their government conclude a truce with Russia. The massive spam attack began on October 25, and for several hours, tweets were posted at a very high rate. This was noted by the analytical project "Bot Blocker / antibot4navalny", which analyzed the publications.

Source. This is stated in the investigation of The Insider.

The materials are distributed on fake websites of well-known publications, not only Ukrainian media, but also leading Western ones. At the same time, pickets "For Demobilization" were suddenly and simultaneously held in Ukrainian cities, with women with the same posters.

Some of the publications contain links to several pseudonymous/analytical notes. According to analysts, they are posted on websites that are fakes of well-known Ukrainian news sites.

All of them write that defeat in the war is close and inevitable; Israel will withhold military and financial aid intended for Ukraine; Ukrainians will face a winter without heating, pensions and salaries; and in the absence of military equipment, the government is sending thousands of soldiers to slaughter to keep power.

These are the topics that are being promoted in these fake news:

There is no need to hold Avdiivka: Russia is bringing in reinforcements; Ukraine is forced to defend itself and is suffering huge losses. Western aid will be reduced because many resources have been pulled away by Israel. Avdiivka could become another Bakhmut and Soledar: first, huge human losses, then the loss of the border itself.

The West is no longer interested in Ukraine, Israel is more important; it will receive weapons that were intended for Ukraine. The allies will push Kyiv to negotiate with Moscow.

Zelenskyy is profiting from military aid and war funding. The allocation of money for the war faces obstacles. In order not to lose financial flows, Zelenskyy will create the appearance of successful battles.

However, it is not only Ukrainian resources that are being falsified. Pseudo-analytical columns about the inevitability of Ukraine's defeat are also published on clones of well-known Western publications: websites that are fakes for Spiegel, Welt, Fox News, Le Parisien, Walla, and others.

Links in the tweets lead to padding sites, from which they redirect to the clone site. Western audiences are presented with roughly the same information: no one is interested in the war between Russia and Ukraine anymore, everyone is now looking towards Israel, Biden will no longer provide financial and military assistance to Kyiv, and so on.

In fact, this is a massive spam attack with pro-Kremlin materials not only on Ukrainian but also on Western audiences. Several dozen separate materials were distributed not only in English, but also in French, German, and Hebrew.

Background. Earlier it was reported that Kremlin bots made every effort to spread the meme of Mask with Zelensky.
