Bloomberg: North Korea has sent more than a million artillery shells to Russia
According to experts, these supplies will be enough for 2 months of shelling

North Korean authorities have sent more than a million artillery shells to Russia.
Source. South Korean official Yoo Sang-bum, who attended a closed-door briefing of national intelligence, told Bloomberg. According to him, the ammunition could have been used to fire on Ukraine.
The official said that since the beginning of August, about ten arms deliveries from North Korea to Russia have been made. Advisors on the use of North Korean ammunition were also sent to Russia, Yoo Sang-bom said. According to him, the supplies will be enough "for about two months of shelling."
Bloomberg notes that North Korea could receive hundreds or even billions of dollars from the sale of ammunition. According to the agency, Pyongyang has one of the world's largest stockpiles of artillery shells and missiles, comparable to the weapons of the Soviet army.
The day before, BILD military observer Julian Repke also reported that the North Korean authorities could have transferred Soviet 122-mm D-30 howitzers to Russia. This is how he commented on a video that appeared on the Internet, allegedly from the Shimanovskaya station in the Amur region, through which the military equipment was transported. According to the expert, the video shows the original howitzers from half a century ago.
Earlier, White House spokesman John Kirby said that between September 7 and October 1, the DPRK supplied Russia with more than a thousand containers of equipment and ammunition for the war in Ukraine.
The White House showed satellite footage showing a Russian-flagged ship being loaded with cargo from an ammunition depot in North Korea, which was then delivered by rail to a warehouse near Russia's southwestern border.
According to Kirby, in exchange for support, North Korea is seeking military assistance from Russia, including fighter jets, surface-to-air missiles, armored vehicles and other advanced technologies.
Background. As a reminder, the United States, Japan and South Korea have confirmed that the DPRK is supplying weapons to Russia.
