Two Russian landing ships hit in Crimea and sank - the DIU
Such boats with air defense systems on board served as a cover for the invaders to cover the ships of the Russian Black Sea Fleet on raids

As a result of a night operation on the territory of the temporarily occupied Crimea, small landing ships of the Russian Black Sea Fleet were defeated by the soldiers.
Source. This was reported by the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine.
According to the new intelligence, two occupants' boats were hit: one ship of the older project 1176 "Shark" and the other newer one of the project 11770 "Chamois".
The vessels were crewed and loaded with armored vehicles, including BTR-82.
According to the intelligence, the aggressor state, Russia, actively used small serna-class landing boats during the occupation of Zmiinyi Island to transfer military equipment and troops.
In addition, the Russians deployed Tor-M2 anti-aircraft missile systems on board the boats to provide mobile cover for their group on the island and in the Black Sea.
In the context of the Russians' virtual absence of shipboard air defense capabilities after a series of attacks by the Ukrainian Security and Defense Forces, such boats with SAMs on board served as cover for the invaders to cover the ships of the Russian Black Sea Fleet during raids.
