In Bulgaria, an arms magnate raises the alarm about Moscow's sabotage campaign against arms supplies to Ukraine
Russian saboteurs are actively attacking the factories and warehouses of EMKO, which produces most of the Soviet-style shells for Ukraine

Bulgarian arms magnate Emilian Gebrev, who survived two assassination attempts by Russians, is sounding the alarm about the intensification of saboteurs whose goal is to disrupt critical arms supplies to Ukraine.
Source. This was reported by The Financial Times.
According to Gebrev, Russian saboteurs are actively attacking the factories and warehouses of his company EMKO, which produces most of the Soviet-style Bulgarian bullets and tank shells supplied to Kyiv.
"Russian threats mean that a new set of measures must be taken at the national level, as well as at the NATO level," Gebrev said.
No one has been detained or prosecuted in connection with his poisoning and the explosions at his company's facilities, so he blamed Moscow's influence on the Bulgarian government.
"There has been no result in any of the more than a dozen cases related to Russian terrorist acts and the spy network in Bulgaria. All investigations have either been stopped or deadlocked, and not a single case has been brought to court," Gebrev said.
"The Russians are very interested in our facilities and the people who serve them," a Bulgarian official who asked to remain anonymous told The Financial Times.
At the same time, Bulgarian prosecutor's office spokesman Veselin Ivanov said that the allegations of Russian infiltration "are categorically untrue" and that the new leadership of the agency is committed to reforming his office.
According to him, the prosecutor's office has documented the criminal activities of GRU agents and initiated criminal proceedings, but since Russia does not extradite its citizens, Sofia had no way to bring them to justice.
Earlier it was reported that a large-scale fire broke out in the warehouse of the EMKO arms company near the Bulgarian town of Karnobat, owned by businessman Emilian Gebrev, and the owner suspected that it was an intentional arson.
This is the second fire at this facility after ammunition detonated in another warehouse on July 31, 2022. Since then, an investigation has been ongoing, and the prosecutor's office has not released any official information about its progress.
Earlier, Gebrev, who survived the alleged Novichok poisoning in 2015, said he was "100% sure" that Russian special services were behind the explosion and subsequent fire in July 2022.
