Polish Sejm passes a vote of no confidence in the government of Mateusz Morawiecki - he resigns
Donald Tusk, who has already formed a new government, is expected to become the country's prime minister

The Polish Sejm has passed a vote of no confidence in the government of Mateusz Morawiecki.
Source. This was reported by The Guardian.
It is expected that Donald Tusk, who led a coalition of opposition parties that won a majority in the fall elections, will become the country's Prime Minister.
Morawiecki's government, formed by the conservative populist Law and Justice party, will not begin its work.
Nevertheless, after the October 15 elections, President Andrzej Duda gave Morawiecki the opportunity to be the first to form a government that MPs would vote for. Now that the parliamentarians have passed a vote of no confidence in him, they will nominate their own candidate for the post of prime minister.
It is noted that Donald Tusk's cabinet has already been formed, and on Tuesday he will present his program to the Sejm.
It is assumed that Tusk will be able to take the prime minister's chair on Wednesday, and in this status will fly to the summit of EU leaders, which will take place on Thursday and Friday.
Background. Earlier, Tusk criticized the politicians of the current government in Poland for their inaction and unwillingness to resolve the situation with the blockade of Ukrainian trucks at the border.
