Hackers hacked into email services of Iranian company involved in the sale of Shaheds to Russia

Hackers from the Prana Network group have hacked into the email servers of the Iranian company IRGC Sahara Thunder, which facilitates the illegal sale of Shahed attack drones to Russia.

"On 4 February 2024, PRANA Network announced the successful hacking of the email servers of an IRGC shell company called Sahara Thunder, which facilitates the illegal sale of weapons from Iran to Russia," the statement said.
It is noted that the amount of hacked data is almost 10 GB of files. They include "contracts for multimillion-dollar deals, payments in gold bullion, unmanned aerial vehicle technology, data from an agent in the UAE called GENERATION TRADING FZE, a company called ALABUGA, bank account data, factory layouts, etc.".
According to the files published on the simorgh.io portal, Iran initially estimated the starting price of the Shahed strike UAV at 23 million rubles per unit (approximately $375,000). However, later, during negotiations, Russia and Iran reached an agreement of 12 million rubles (approximately $193 thousand) for the order of 6,000 drones, or 18 million rubles (approximately $290 thousand) for 2,000 units.
The total contract price for the production, transfer of technology and equipment for 6,000 sets of UAVs, as well as software, is RUB 108.5 billion (approximately $1.75 billion).
