Following the United States and the United Kingdom, Latvia, South Korea, Sweden and Canada have warned of the possibility of terrorist attacks in Russia.
The Latvian Foreign Ministry warns that due to possible terrorist attacks in Moscow in the next 48 hours, Latvian citizens are urged not to enter Russia and to avoid places of mass gatherings in Moscow.
The canadian government's website has posted a message stating that Canadians should refrain from travelling to russia due to the high probability of terrorist attacks.
South Korea's Foreign Ministry emphasises the "high probability of accidents in crowded places" in connection with the 8 March celebrations, and also mentions the US Embassy's warning about the possibility of terrorist attacks in Russia.
On 7 March, the Swedish Foreign Ministry updated its recommendation not to travel to Russia due to the "deteriorating security situation" in the country.
Earlier, the British Foreign Office issued a warning that terrorist attacks could be carried out in Russia in the near future, citing a report by the US Embassy in Russia that it was studying reports that said terrorist attacks in Russia in the next 48 hours were "imminent".
