Prosecutor's Office: 50 cases of North Korean missiles used by Russia in Ukraine recorded
The results of a forensic military examination are now expected, after which there will be concrete evidence

The Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor's Office has officially confirmed one case of Russian troops using a North Korean KN-23 missile to shell Kharkiv, the head of the department, Oleksandr Filchakov, said at a briefing, Interfax-Ukraine reports.
According to him, there is reason to believe that the Russian military used such missiles to strike the region at least twice more.
"Now in our region, one case of the use of the North Korean KN-23 missile, called Hwasong-11, by the Russian Federation has been officially recorded. We have received the relevant conclusions from both national and international experts, which confirm that on 2 January this year, this North Korean missile hit building No. 1 on Independence Avenue [...] We are now waiting for the results of a forensic military examination, after which we will be able to say that there are more such cases," Filchakov said.
He demonstrated one of the missile fragments used by the Russian Armed Forces on 7 February during a strike on the Sloboda district of Kharkiv. "You can see the markings here. "11 February" – is the name of the North Korean military plant that produces these missiles," Filchakov said.
According to him, since the beginning of the full-scale war, 50 cases of North Korean missiles have been recorded in six regions of Ukraine.
Background. Meanwhile, according to media reports, North Korea is giving Russia junk: most of the missiles it has given over were made 50 years ago. Half of them do not work, and the rest need to be either repaired or tested.
