Zelenskyy: Russia wants to disrupt the global peace summit in Switzerland and already has a plan to do so
He promised to share intelligence information with foreign partners

Russia intends to disrupt the Global Peace Summit scheduled for June in Switzerland.
Source. This was stated by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy at a meeting with the heads of missions of foreign states and international organisations accredited in Ukraine, as well as heads of Ukrainian diplomatic missions abroad, the press service of the President reports.
"We have accurate information from intelligence, specific data that Russia not only wants to disrupt the Peace Summit, but also has a specific plan: how to do it, how to reduce the participation of countries, how to act to ensure that there is no peace for even longer."
We will share with you, dear partners, at the level of diplomats, at the level of intelligence, about Russia's plans. And together we must counteract this – we must work in unity for a just peace," Zelenskyy said.
He noted that the high-level meeting in Switzerland to discuss the possibilities of ending the war in Ukraine would be "the first real diplomatic step" in this direction.
"And I really want this to be not just an attempt, but a real result," Volodymyr Zelenskyy stressed.
The Global Peace Summit will be held on the basis of the "peace formula" proposed by Kyiv. This plan consists of ten points, with a separate working group working on each of them, the press release said. In particular, the plan includes the withdrawal of Russian troops from the entire territory of Ukraine, the payment of reparations to Kyiv and the creation of a special tribunal to try Russian officials.
Russia was not invited to the summit in Switzerland. Moscow, in turn, said that such a meeting would be meaningless without Russian participation.
The peace conference is expected to take place on 15-16 June in the resort of Burgenstock, and is expected to be attended by 80-100 countries. The summit is expected to resemble the format of the four previous conferences on a peaceful settlement in Ukraine, which took place in Denmark, Saudi Arabia, and Malta in 2023 and in Davos on 14 January 2024. According to media reports, Ukraine has also invited Chinese President Xi Jinping to the Burgenstock meeting.
