British citizen accused of burning down a facility linked to Ukraine

Dylan Earle, a British citizen, has been charged with organising arson attacks on Ukrainian-linked businesses in London on behalf of the Wagner PMC.

Investigators believe that the 20-year-old Briton was in contact with a PMC supervisor and then conducted reconnaissance of targets "in connection with activities aimed at benefiting Russia".

In addition, Earle is accused of recruiting third parties to set fire to an industrial facility in London associated with Ukraine.

In addition to Dylan Earle, four other people are accused in the case.

Paul English, 60, and Nia Mensah, 21, were charged with aggravated arson.

Jake Reeves, 22, is accused of accepting a payment from a foreign intelligence agency and aggravated arson, and Dmitrius Paulauskas, 22, is accused of having information about the attacks but not sharing it with law enforcement.

On 20 March 2024, an industrial facility caught fire in the Leyton area of east London. Eight vehicles and about 60 rescuers were involved in extinguishing the fire. Later it became known that the company was linked to Ukraine and owned by Oddisey and Meest UK. The investigation documents identify the alleged culprit as "Mr X".
