David Cameron: Ukraine can hit Russian territory with British weapons

British Foreign Secretary and former Prime Minister David Cameron visited Kyiv on Thursday and promised Ukraine three billion pounds ($3.74 billion) annually, and said that Ukraine has the right to use the weapons it receives from Britain to strike at Russian territory.
"We will give three billion pounds every year for as long as it takes. We've just already raked out everything we can in terms of equipment and weapons from our warehouses," Reuters quoted Cameron as saying.

According to Cameron, it is up to the Ukrainians to decide whether to use the equipment received from Britain on the territory of Russia.
"Ukraine has that right. Russia is striking at the territory of Ukraine, and it is quite clear that Ukraine feels the need to protect itself," Cameron said.
Cameron met in Kyiv with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and other Ukrainian officials and, in particular, announced new packages of weapons and ammunition from Britain, including precision bombs, anti-aircraft missiles and equipment.
Cameron reportedly proposed to conclude a "centenary partnership" agreement with Ukraine.
