A Russian UMPB D-30 unexploded ordnance was found 80 metres from the Epicentre in Kharkiv, which came under Russian shelling on 25 May.

The shell did not reach the hypermarket and did not detonate, otherwise there could have been many more victims, the report said.
According to the agency, on 25 May, the Russian military adjusted fire with the help of reconnaissance UAVs.
As reported, on 25 May, the Russian Armed Forces conducted two air strikes with UMPB D-30 against the Epicentre construction hypermarket in Kharkiv. A fire broke out, covering 13,500 square metres. As of 27 May, there were 18 dead, 48 injured and five missing.

The first cases of such bombs striking Kharkiv were recorded in late March. At least 14 high-rise buildings, a school, a kindergarten, an emergency surgery institute and other infrastructure were reportedly damaged. One of the bombs exploded in a playground.
