Security Service detained one of the commanders of the 155th brigade Anna de Kyiv
He voluntarily left the unit and called on his subordinates to do so

Ukrainian law enforcement detained one of the commanders of the 155th mechanized brigade Anna de Kyiv.
The State Bureau of Investigation (SBI) reported this on Telegram.
“SBI employees, in cooperation with the Security Service of Ukraine, detained the commander of one of the unit of the 155th mechanized brigade, who not only voluntarily left the place of duty, but also incited his soldiers to do so,” the SBI said in a statement.
At the end of last year, the senior lieutenant refused to carry out the order to transfer the unit he led to the operational subordination of another unit. Instead, he ordered his soldiers to flee without weapons and himself voluntarily left the place of duty.
The commander was detained today, January 8, in the Rivne region. He has already been transported to Kyiv and accused of desertion and refusal to carry out the order.
The court chose a preventive measure for the suspect in the form of detention with the possibility of posting bail. The amount of bail is unknown.
As we reported, the soldiers of the 155th Anna de Kyiv Brigade were trained in France by Western instructors. France also provided Ukrainian soldiers with weapons. After the brigade was returned to Ukraine, the media wrote about mass cases of desertion among soldiers. At the same time, some of the soldiers escaped during training in France.
During a meeting of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief's Headquarters, Volodymyr Zelensky took the investigation into the 155 Anna de Kyiv Brigade under personal control.
