President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky addressed the Ukrainians at the end of the 65th day of the russian invasion of Ukraine.
The main theses of his speech:
• Our military has important tactical success in the Kharkiv region.
• In Donbas, the occupiers are trying to destroy all the residential areas, and make this area uninhabited.
• The actions of the occupiers in Mariupol even surpass the level of cynicism of the Nazis during World War II.
• The President expressed his hope that the Land-Lease program approved by the United States will help defeat putin's troops, just as the same program helped defeat Hitler's troops.
• The occupiers are deliberately destroying the infrastructure for the production, supply and storage of fuel. But government officials promise that a system of fuel supply to Ukraine will be provided that our country will be able to prevent a deficit. In the EU we will be able to take as much fuel as we need.
• Currently, 27 foreign diplomatic missions operate in the capital of our country. And this is an extremely important gesture of support for Ukraine.
• In the temporarily occupied areas of the Kherson region, collaborators say that they are allegedly preparing for the transition to the “ruble zone”. But russia itself will suffer from that – sanctions and other reactions of the free world to russia’s aggressive actions will not be delayed.
• An employee of Radio Liberty Vera Hyrych was killed by a russian missile hitting a residential building in Kyiv. She became the 23rd media representative whose life was cut short as a result of the russian invasion.
