Russian occupants killed a child in one of the communities in the temporarily occupied territory of Kherson region.

This was announced at a press conference by the head of the Regional Military Administration Oleksandr Prokudin, Suspilne reports.

"I received a report from a community on the left bank that the Russian occupiers killed an eighth-grade student in one of the settlements. It happened on December 20. They did it right in front of the family. The mother almost went crazy there, she was rescued from the noose. It was a terrible situation..." said Prokudin.

According to the head of the OVA, the boy was passing by and allegedly taking pictures of something. The Russian military grabbed the child, brought him home and shot him, Prokudin said.

"We have a statement from the school principal to the police. We will appeal to the human rights ombudsman and all the authorities to record this fact," the official said.

According to the updated information from the regional prosecutor's office on Telegram, the Russian army killed a minor boy in the Kakhovka district. Law enforcement officers opened a criminal investigation into the violation of the laws and customs of war, combined with premeditated murder (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

Prokudin also added that forced passportization continues in the TOT of Kherson region, teachers are forced to work according to Russian programs, and children are exposed to Russian propaganda.
