Huobi Global Limited is a blockchain-based financial service provider, including exchange, trading, wallets, and storage.
One of the oldest exchanges, founded in 2013 by Chinese entrepreneurs Leon Li and Du Jun. Initially a Chinese exchange, Huobi was forced to relocate to South Korea following the cryptocurrency restrictions imposed by the Chinese government in 2017. The exchange is now registered in the Seychelles, with offices in all key regions of the exchange’s operation – Hong Kong, South Korea, Japan, and the US.
The exchange has its own Huobi Token (HT), holding which can give advantages in trading fees. Key products of the exchange include spot and derivative market trading, and crypto asset staking. Huobi offers the decentralised and public blockchain HECO Chain dor developers.
