In Lviv, the first TULIP Residences aparthotel of the international network has opened in Ukraine
Part of the complex is a large-scale abstract installation "Moments" created by Andriana Matys
On Friday, October 31, an official presentation of the new modern aparthotel TULIP Residences Lviv took place – the first project in Ukraine by the international network Louvre Hotels Group. The event was held as part of the Official Opening Reception titled “Business Bloom.” The event gathered business representatives, local authorities, investors, veterans, clergy, public figures, and media at the Kristal Plaza complex.
The event demonstrated how a modern hotel can become a platform for partnerships, creative initiatives, and the development of the city’s business environment, combining art, inclusivity, charity, and gastronomy.
During the event, the art space “Moment” was presented – an installation of 43 canvases reflecting the flow of time and the diversity of human feelings. Its author, Ukrainian artist Andriana Matys, created the project in cooperation with Tulip Residences Lviv, aiming to convey the emotion of a moment through color, light, and movement. The inspiration for the work was the idea that each moment is worthy of being captured in art.

Tulip Residences Lviv sought to create not just a living space but a place where every guest can live within art and feel it.
This is why a large-scale art object “Moment” was created together with Ukrainian artist Andriana Matys.

Each painting in this installation is unique in its nature. It makes one stop, reflect, and feel, because true art always evokes emotion.
The project also has a social dimension: just as each hotel resident becomes part of an artistic environment, every visitor has the opportunity to touch living art.

This is a unique project with no analogues. The installation “Moment” comes alive with time – it changes as the seasons change, each time revealing new facets and giving guests new impressions and a new feeling of themselves in the art space.
Additional depth to the project is provided by the jazz soundtrack, created by soundproducer Lucelaced especially for the installation and recorded with real instruments for full immersion into the world of emotions and color.

“‘Moment’ is a large-scale abstract installation of 43 canvases that together occupy 35 square meters – an area equivalent to a one-room apartment.

It is a visual journey into the dimension of time and space. Each canvas is a fragment of life: a year, a month, a day, a minute, or even a continent. Together they form a ‘portrait of the moment’ – a unique combination of coordinates in which a person exists.
The installation constantly lives and transforms: the canvases can be rearranged, creating a new composition, a new rhythm, and a new story each time. As time changes, so does ‘Moment.’ Therefore, with each new visit, you find yourself in a new dimension,” stated the author, Andriana Matys.

In addition to the cultural part, participants were shown the functional business spaces of the hotel – conference halls, meeting rooms, and event zones that are already operating and hosting corporate, educational, and private events.

Participants tested the inclusiveness of the rooms together with veterans in partnership with the “Unbroken” organization and joined a charity auction, with the proceeds directed to support the rehabilitation center, specifically the renovation of the intensive care unit.

Guests were also introduced to the updated gastronomic concept of the Skver café, which offers modern European cuisine with a local accent, and during the event, special attention was given to French-style hors d’oeuvres prepared by chef Petro Kasperskyi.
During informal communication, business and city representatives discussed the principles of developing international tourism, the importance of new investment projects in commercial real estate, plans for 2026, and opportunities for joint initiatives, conferences, and partner events in Lviv.

The aparthotel TULIP Residences Lviv is located at 24a Panasa Myrnoho Street, within the Kristal Plaza business complex. The project became the first internationally branded aparthotel in Ukraine, oriented toward short- and long-term stays for business clients and city guests.
Construction of the hotel began in 2019 with a short pause in spring 2022. The developer of the project was Halytska Budivelna Hildiya (GBG), which carefully selected an international partner to implement a world-class aparthotel concept. As a result, in 2021, a franchise agreement was signed with Louvre Hotels Group – a network that includes more than 1,700 hotels in 70 countries.
“We already see that the TULIP Residences concept is working and finding its customer. Despite the challenges of the time, the hotel team – gathered from specialists across Ukraine – provides exceptional service, confirmed by positive guest reviews. The project is also becoming a modern alternative for temporary relocation and comfortable living in Lviv, serving as a worthy and affordable alternative to apartment rentals. It was created thanks to the trust of Halytska Budivelna Hildiya and the trust of investors who represent a wide map of Ukraine,” said Olena Kaseka, General Manager of the aparthotel and complex.

“Investing in hotel real estate in Lviv today is not just a financial decision but a strategic step into the future. The city is developing dynamically, attracting business, tourism, and new opportunities for long-term projects. These investments become a guarantee of success tomorrow, but they work only for the brave – those who are not afraid to act despite the challenges of the time,” said Oleksandr Kryshtofor, head of the developer company GBG.
