The exchange began its operations in 2018 (formerly known as MXC), and was registered in the Seychelles. There is little information available about the company’s founders and management.
They offer all standard services for traders, with a focus on a wide range of instruments – over 1600 coins have been admitted for trading. MEXC has an MX token, which provides fee privileges and a range of other options.
The exchange offers original products for clients, such as Kickstarter (providing the opportunity to receive tokens from an airdrop for MX token holders), Launchpad (for teams to launch their own tokens), and competitions for traders, including futures.
In April 2023, a zero-commission programme for traders was launched. At the same time, the spreads between buying/selling prices of assets are higher than those of its nearest exchange competitors, which negates the savings on commissions.
