Canada will help to export Ukrainian grain
Ukraine and Poland have signed a joint statement that simplifies the export of Ukrainian grain

Canada is one of the world's largest grain exporters and has a great experience in this sphere, so the government has decided to send cargo ships to Eastern Europe to help export Ukrainian grain. This was reported by Logist.Today with reference to a statement by Canadian Foreign Minister Mélanie Joly.
European, American and Canadian agencies are discussing many routes for possible exports. According to Mélanie Joly, negotiations with other jurisdictions: from Poland to Romania, the Baltic states and Turkey, are also underway.
“We are working to join the great mission of liberating Ukrainian grain,” said Mélanie Joly.
She also stressed the importance of exporting Ukrainian grain to the Middle East and Africa to avoid a food crisis in those regions.
The day before, Ukraine and Poland signed a joint statement on the export of Ukrainian grain.
In a joint statement, the parties noted, in particular:
• revision by the Polish side of the requirements for veterinary control of transit cargoes of grain from Ukraine, which will ensure the possibility of transit of grain at all checkpoints on the state border of Poland and Ukraine;
• ensuring the possibility of transit of grain at the border inspection posts of Verkhrat – Rava Ruska, Medika – Shegini, Krostenko – Smilnytsia.
