What happened? The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) completed counterintelligence measures at the facilities of the UOC (MP) in Zakarpattia, Chernivtsi, Rivne, Volyn, Mykolaiv, Sumy, Lviv, Zhytomyr, and Kherson oblasts.

Details. “On the territory of the dioceses, russian passports, St. George's ribbons, symbols of the banned OPFL party and “manuals” by Patriarch Kirill of moscow on spreading enemy propaganda through believers were found.

And in the diocese in Lviv Oblast, photos of hidden russian documents “On ensuring cooperation with military commissariats of russia” were found.
On the territory of churches in the Transcarpathian region, there was a flag of the so-called “Republic of Subcarpathian Ruthenia” with the text of the anthem of “Subcarpathian Ruthenians”. The special service also found out that a local priest in his sermons called people, who celebrate Christmas on December 25, “wicked Satanists”.
A novice with a russian passport and contacts in russia was exposed in one of the monasteries in Rivne Oblast. The SBU is currently checking his possible involvement in reconnaissance and subversive activities in favour of the special services of the aggressor country.
A cleric with a party card of the Communist Party of the former USSR was found in Romny diocese. Currently, all seized materials have been sent for examination for further procedural actions.
