Restoration of Khersonoblenergo grids will cost VS Energy almost 750 million UAH
Calculations do not yet include the cost of urgent emergency repairs
What happened? The cost of restoring the minimal operation of the power grids of Khersonoblenergo destroyed and damaged by the russians is estimated at 747 million UAH, including 270 million UAH for two 150 kV substations.

Details. As noted, the ongoing hostile shelling of Kherson and settlements of the oblast constantly leads to new damage to the power grids, the cost of which cannot yet be determined.
In some areas of the oblast, substations are practically destroyed and require complete replacement of all equipment, while in other cases they operate with the minimum possible equipment, but without a backup.
Khersonoblenergo's estimates of the cost of recovery of the power grids do not include potential costs for urgent emergency repairs.
"The funds that the company needs immediately are not enough to fully restore the power grids to their initial state, which they were in before February 24, 2022. First of all, we are talking only about restoration of power facilities to operational condition with the minimum possible equipment," adds VS Energy International Ukraine.
