Kyiv Oblast Military Administration: more than 6,400 facilities have already been restored in the oblast
Ongoing repairs in Kyiv Oblast to be completed by 2023

What happened? More than 6,400 facilities damaged as a result of the russian armed aggression have already been restored in Kyiv Oblast. Almost 3,700 more facilities have been restored only partially, but still life support has been provided.

Details. Work on restoring facilities damaged by hostilities is ongoing in the region. In particular, repairs of 5,450 private households and apartment buildings have already been completed. In addition, more than 3,300 residential properties have been partially restored.
Among other things, 156 general secondary and preschool education institutions have been restored. Another 22 such facilities have been partially repaired. Furthermore, 86 healthcare facilities damaged by the hostilities have been recovered throughout the period.
"Despite the difficult weather conditions, we continue to recover our region step by step. In 2023, we are going to complete the current repairs in Kyiv Oblast. There are also more than 4,000 housing facilities in the oblast that need major repairs. We are now actively preparing to start restoring such facilities," states Mr. Boyko.
It is pointed out that the repair works are carried out at the expense of funds allocated from the reserve fund of the state and local budgets. Besides, facilities throughout the oblast are being restored with the assistance of international partners, organisations, and foundations.
