Ukraine has returned the bodies of 17 more fallen defenders.
This was reported by the Ministry of Reintegration.
The ministry pointed out that the transfer of bodies from the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine had taken place in accordance with the Geneva Conventions.
In total, since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of russia, the bodies of 1,426 Ukrainian defenders have been returned from the temporarily occupied territories to their families for burial.
Previously. Ukraine returned the deputy mayor of Enerhodar from russian captivity. Another 94 of those released during the exchange were Mariupol defenders.
