The Cabinet of Ministers simplified the procedure for importing raw cane sugar
The approval of the State Reserve is no longer required

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has cancelled the requirement to obtain the approval of the State Reserve for the Ministry of Economy when issuing licences for the import of raw cane sugar to Ukraine within the tariff quota.
The decision was made during a government meeting, the CMU press service reports.
It is noted that the issue of the expediency of such a document was previously considered by the Interagency Working Group on Accelerated Review of State Regulation of Economic Activity.
"The Strategy of Economic Security of Ukraine recognises reducing the regulatory burden on business as one of the key tasks. In order to create the most favourable conditions for business development and, consequently, the economy, we need to review the existing state regulatory instruments and outdated instruments. This work is being carried out in a systematic and targeted manner. Today, we have decided to cancel one such instrument that does not meet the interests of the state, business and society," explained Minister of Economy Yulia Svyrydenko.
It is worth noting that during the meeting, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal announced that the deregulation policy for business would continue.
