"We are in trouble": Russian occupiers complain to Putin about heavy losses and barrier detachments

Russian soldiers from the Storm unit of the 5th Brigade of the 1st Corps of the 8th Army found themselves in trenches in the village of Vodiane, Donetsk Oblast, after two weeks of fighting. The command refused to evacuate them from there. They recorded a video message to President Putin, in which they said that barrier units were set up against them.

Source: The video was published by Russian Z-channels.

"Our leadership is driving us to machine guns, mortars, tanks. We were under open fire from mortars and artillery for 14 days. We suffered huge losses – 34 men of the 300th, 22 men of the 200th. Our company commander was killed," the Russian occupiers said.

They also stated that they had never seen the leadership of the 5th Brigade, calling it a "criminal group". The soldiers also claim that they are still enrolled in the Kaliningrad training and have been left in the trenches without documents or supplies.

"Now we are not allowed to go anywhere at all. We continue to be destroyed. There is death there, and there is death ahead. We were threatened with execution if we did not go forward. They want to kill us on the way out as witnesses of negligent criminal management," the orcs complained.

The authors of the video message claim that they have to pay for treatment in the hospital, otherwise they are not admitted.

"Soldiers are being extorted. If the money was not handed over, they promised to throw people to the front line right away... The wounded were discharged from hospitals in three days without providing any help, without removing the debris, and sent back to the front line. And they took another 20 thousand (rubles) from them," the Russian soldiers complained.

Background. According to British intelligence, the Russian offensive on Bakhmut, Donetsk region, has largely stalled due to the depletion of the occupiers' forces.
