The document says that at the NATO summit in Vilnius, Ukraine should be invited to join NATO, and the membership protocols should be signed and the ratification process launched when conditions allow.

The resolution also emphasizes the need to strengthen defense in the Baltic region, increase the number of NATO troops in Lithuania to the level of a brigade, and improve the country's air defense.
The NATO Summit will be held in Vilnius on July 11-12. For the first time, Lithuania will host 40 delegations from NATO member states and partners.
