Ukraine has already evacuated 91 citizens from the war zone in Sudan.
This was reported by the spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Oleh Nikolenko.
In total, over the past 3 days, the Ukrainian government has carried out 3 evacuation operations. The first to be evacuated were 83 Ukrainians, 4 Sudanese and 51 foreigners. The majority, namely 64 of them, expressed a desire to return home. They are expected to arrive in Poland today, and from there they will be taken to Ukraine.
Another group of 5 Ukrainians was taken by bus to Egypt this morning. 3 more citizens were evacuated in coordination with the German government.
Previously. Mind reported that the DIU evacuated 87 Ukrainian citizens from Sudan. They are now in Egypt and are waiting to return home.
