Poland seized a school at the Russian Embassy in favor of the state
В МЗС рф назвали це нечувано нахабним кроком і пообіцяли жорстку відповідь

Poland has demanded to vacate the building of a school at the Russian embassy, believing that its activities do not belong to consular and diplomatic purposes. The representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic, Lukasz Jasina, said that the authorities were seizing the building in favor of the state, as it was occupied illegally.
Source. Reuters reports.
On the morning of April 29, officials of the Warsaw City Hall, accompanied by police, tried to enter the school to conduct an inventory of the property, but were not allowed. After that, law enforcement officers broke down the gate. The school staff was given until 19:00 to leave the building.
Russian Ambassador Sergei Andreev said that diplomats would comply with Poland's demands, but threatened to retaliate.
"I don't want to predict what kind of reaction it will be. The decision on this will be made in the center," he said, adding that the school will continue to work in another building of the embassy.
The Russian Foreign Ministry called what is happening a "seizure" of Russian diplomatic real estate.
"Such an impudent step by Warsaw, which goes beyond civilized interstate communication, will not remain without our tough reaction and consequences for the Polish authorities and Poland's interests in Russia," the ministry said.
The school's staff has already begun to pack their belongings to the sounds of the Farewell to the Slavic march.
Earlier, the Polish Foreign Ministry demanded that a case be opened against "two real estate objects that are not used for diplomatic and consular purposes and are illegally owned by the Russian Federation." One of them is a school, and the other is a currently unoccupied building with 100 apartments, where Russian diplomats used to live.
Background. On April 26, it became known that Poland had confiscated all the money from the accounts of the Russian embassy and trade mission. Following this, the Kremlin said that "Warsaw should wait for Moscow's response."
