Intelligence highlights the special role of the 'people's satellite' for planning and carrying out operations
The ICEYE satellite, which was purchased with the help of donations from Ukrainians, helped destroy russian equipment worth billions of dollars.
This was reported by the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine (DIU) of the Ministry of Defence.
The Directorate explains that the camouflaging of the occupiers' equipment and ammunition depots has effectively been negated by ICEYE's capabilities. GUR staff highlight the special role of the 'people's satellite' for planning and carrying out crucial and highly anticipated military operations.
"The capabilities of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine to detect enemy targets for subsequent priority strikes, in order to inflict significant losses on the russian occupiers, have grown significantly since September 2022," the DIU explains.
Background. Earlier, Mind reported that the Ministry of Digital Transformation collected more than UAH 66 million for drones for the DIU. Ukrainian intelligence received 2,200 kamikaze drones.
