Spain announces new aid package for Ukraine
Defenders will receive 4 Leopard 2 tanks, as well as armoured vehicles, light trucks, and rapid response vehicles

Spain has announced a new aid package for Ukraine.
This is reported by the press service of the Spanish Ministry of Defence.
Next week, the Defence Department plans to send to Ukraine:
- 4 Leopard 2A4 tanks;
- 10 APCs (probably M113);
- Armoured off-road vehicles;
- Light trucks
- Rapid response vehicles.
In addition, according to government officials, Spain also sent an enhanced field hospital to the Ukrainian Armed Forces yesterday. It is equipped with an emergency surgery unit, a postoperative ward, a pharmacy, sterilisation equipment, a laboratory, and two hospitalisation modules. The hospital is expected to arrive via transit from Poland on 23 July.
Additionally, according to the ministry's plan, the defenders will receive light weaponry and high-calibre ammunition from their Spanish colleagues by the end of the summer.
Background. Mind previously reported that Spain would provide Ukraine with a mobile hospital and armoured ambulances. Border Guard Service medics are undergoing training at a Spanish airbase in Zaragoza.
