russian occupiers launched 19 missiles of various types at Odessa Oblast during a night attack. The air defence forces destroyed nine of the enemy's airborne targets.

This is reported by the press service of the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

In total, the russians used 19 missiles of different types:

  • 5 Oniks cruise missiles from the Bastion coastal missile complex (Crimea);
  • 3 Kh-22 air-based cruise missiles from Tu-22M3 planes (waters of the Black Sea);
  • 4 Kalibr naval-based cruise missiles likely from a submarine (waters of the Black Sea);
  • 5 Iskander-K land-based cruise missiles (Crimea);
  • 2 Iskander-M ballistic missiles (Crimea).

Air defence forces shot down 4 naval Kalibr and 5 Iskander-K cruise missiles.

"Over the current and past day, the Air Force carried out more than 15 airstrikes on objects, concentration sites of equipment and personnel of the russian occupiers," added the Air Force.

Background. Recall that Natalia Humeniuk, Head of the Joint Coordinating Press Center of the Defence Forces of the South of Ukraine, stated that the southern regions of Ukraine remained under a high level of threat from missile attacks from the russian occupying forces, as they had yet to achieve their set objectives.

According to her, there remains one missile carrier in the Black Sea. The spokeswoman warned that the occupiers resorted to a tactic of attacking Ukraine from a bay without taking the missile carrier into combat duty.
