Ukraine adds two German machine tool companies to the list of "international sponsors of war"
SPINNER and DMG Mori continue to help Russia manufacture weapons

Ukraine's National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption (NAPC) has added two German companies that manufacture high-precision machine tools, SPINNER and DMG Mori, to the list of "international sponsors of war."
According to Ukrainians, they continue to work with Russia, including the military-industrial complex.
"The machines of these companies continue to be maintained and purchased by Russia, despite the sanctions imposed. Without these devices, it is unable to manufacture weapons and components for them," the NACP said in a statement.
The agency claims that during the war, the volume of SPINNER products supplied to Russia has increased by 500%, and the website of the company's official distributor in Russia, SPINNER LLC, says it is operating as usual.
DMG Mori's subsidiary, according to the Ukrainian agency, operates the Ulyanovsk Machine Tool Plant in Russia.
"At the end of February 2022, DMG Mori announced the suspension of all sales and service in Russia, as well as all production at its plant in Ulyanovsk. In fact, DMG Mori remains an active participant in the Russian market, which contradicts its official statements," the NACP said.
Earlier, the NACP announced that the Bavarian company SPINNER had sent its U5-630 machine to the Russian Serov Mechanical Plant, and that the machine was already on its way from Turkey to Russia. According to Ukrainians, this plant produces, among other things, shell casings for artillery shells.
The NACP wrote an official letter to the German authorities and the company itself, demanding that the supply be canceled.
In April of this year, the German-Japanese company DMG Mori already responded to accusations that it continues to operate in Russia and stated that it had curtailed all operations in the Russian market since February last year.
Background. As reported by Trap Aggressor, a German ammunition manufacturing machine is on its way to Russia right now.
