Bild: Kyiv has changed its strategy and is moving to tactics to destroy Russian infrastructure
In addition, the Ukrainian military has successfully adapted foreign artillery shells to kamikaze drones

Kyiv, whose counteroffensive ended with almost zero results, is changing its strategy. According to Bild, the Ukrainian Armed Forces are moving from eliminating purely military targets in the occupied territories to destroying Russian infrastructure that serves both the civilian population and the military-industrial complex.
The new targets include facilities that play a key role in supplying and supporting Russian military forces. The destruction of such facilities is supposed to put pressure on the enemy and change the course of hostilities in favor of Ukraine.
Over the past few months, the Ukrainian military has successfully adapted foreign artillery shells to kamikaze drones. This innovative tactic is designed to increase the effectiveness of Ukrainian military operations.
Beyond the frontline, Kyiv has found a temporary alternative to liberating the occupied territories – guerrilla attacks by Ukrainian special forces. These measures are being taken to destabilize Russian military operations and create additional challenges for the enemy.
Despite the liberation of half of the territories occupied at the beginning of the war, the last significant military and strategic successes were recorded mainly in 2022. However, the counteroffensive, on which great hopes were pinned, ended with the return of a minimum of the occupied territories in the east and south of the country, the newspaper writes.
Since October last year, the Russian military has resumed its offensive, capturing Maryinka in Donetsk region. Despite significant losses, estimated at 3000 to 5000 people per month, the Russian Armed Forces continue to actively attack.
Background. As a reminder, Forbes reported that over the 23 months of the war, Russia has lost 90% of its tanks in Ukraine. At best, Russia can produce 200 tanks a year to replace them.
