China threatens to deteriorate relations with Ukraine over list of international war sponsors
This conflict, in particular, may affect Chinese purchases of Ukrainian grain

China has warned Ukraine that relations between the two countries could be damaged by Kyiv's inclusion of more than a dozen Chinese companies on the list of international war sponsors.
Source. Reuters reports this with reference to two high-ranking Ukrainian sources.
The warning was handed over to Ukraine last month, the sources said on condition of anonymity.
Kyiv has compiled a list of 48 companies around the world, including 14 from China, whose business, according to the Ukrainian authorities, indirectly contributes to Russian military aggression in Ukraine.
According to the agency, Beijing has not told the Ukrainian authorities how it will respond, but one of the agency's sources suggested that the conflict could affect Chinese purchases of Ukrainian grain, among other things.
Background. Last year, Ukraine reportedly exported most of its agricultural products to Turkey, China, and Romania.
